 The Duke Deptford
Restored beyond its former glory, The Duke boasts a long and well-stocked bar with several real ales, craft beers and excellent wine. The kitchen prepares all food in house and there is plenty of space inside and out to enjoy the food, drink and entertainment.

Sleek and modern, stylish and cosy, it is a truly splendid local asset.  The perfect place to meet up for a drink, a chat, a meal or perhaps to catch one of our many events.

The Duke has a fabulous history being at the very centre of the Deptford music scene since the glory days of the 1970's and 80's when it hosted performances by numerous local bands including such notable acts as Squeeze and Dire Straits. (here for more)

The bar is open from midday to midnight Monday to Thursday, midday to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays and midday to 11pm on Sundays.

The Menu is available from 12 - 3.30pm and 6.30 - 10pm on weekdays. On Saturdays we serve all day from midday to 10pm and on Sundays from 12.30 to 5pm.  And the food is great, made using only freshly delivered ingredients, prepared and cooked in-house.

Coffee and tea served all day every day from midday and free high speed Wi-Fi broadband internet access is available at all times.

Each April the London Marathon passes right by our front door.  The Duke, which sits on the seven mile marker, serves breakfast and refreshment from 9am followed by lunch from 12.30. With a brass band on the balcony and full breakfast on the terrace it is a hugely enjoyable day (details here)

Find us on the corner of Creek Road and Gonson Street between the Laban Dance Centre and MacMillan student village.  A 5 minute walk from Deptford and Greenwich stations and Cutty Sark DLR.
